About Ink and Iolite
Ink and Iolite was created in 2020 to showcase the jewelry making skills of Liz Kiser Brandon. At Ink and Iolite, we focus on selling high quality jewelry from a range of techniques including bead weaving, polymer clay, resin, gemstones, and wire wrapping.
We also specialize in repurposing vintage and sentimental pieces that mean a lot, but maybe don't fit the current trends. We can update and modernize your favorite heirlooms without damaging the individual elements.

About Liz
Hi! I'm Liz and I have been making jewelry for over 20 years.
It all started in the Arizona desert in the early 2000s when I visited my friend and mentor Karinn over Spring Break. We rented a little two door red Suzuki Swift, loaded up on fruit, German bread, cream cheese and --at her insistence-- Cheetos, and went driving all over Arizona, Utah, and Southern California. During that trip that she introduced me to jewelry making and began teaching me basic techniques. We stopped at every beadery and lapidary we could find and I began to collect gemstones. I met indigenous jewelry makers and watched them weave and asked questions.
When I got home, I began with simple strung gemstone creations using tiger tail wire. I quickly learned to weave with seed beads and then moved on to wire wrapping. In 2019, I discovered the versatility of polymer clay and resin. Once the pandemic hit in 2020, I gave up my craft space in favor of a home office and have been working from home on and off ever since.
After recently being laid off, I rekindled my love of polymer clay, resin and all other technique and decided to relaunch Ink and Iolite to help supplement our income. I'm thrilled to finally share my creations and I hope you love them as much as I love creating them.
